Now in it’s 15th year, the Local Hero Awards are a great opportunity to recognise extraordinary people, local schools and organisations in Fife for their fantastic achievements.
The Home Grown Talent Award recognises individuals or groups who have been able to demonstrate the ability to entertain and engage an audience. If you know a talented entertainer in Fife – whether they be a musician, a band, a comedian, a performer, or anyone else with an incredible talent – this is a brilliant chance to make sure they’re recognised.

Shortlisted nominees will be invited to the live awards ceremony on Friday 26th August. This year, the awards ceremony returns to the Rothes Halls for the first time since 2019.
MidgieBite Media will also be providing the video content once again for this year’s awards, filming with all of the fantastic shortlisted nominees throughout the Kingdom of Fife, as well as capturing the live awards event. We had a fantastic time producing videos for the awards in both 2019 and 2020, and it’s great to be working with Kingdom FM to support this great community initiative.
Other fantastic awards include the Best School, the Charity Champion, the Green Award, and the Sports Person of the Year. You can nominate for any of these categories online until Sunday 26th June 2022 at 5pm, so be sure not to miss out!
